Θεοδώρα Κουτούκη

I was born in Sydney, Australia where I spent my formative years. I studied Social Sciences and then moved on to do teacher’s training. In 2010 I obtained the Cambridge DELTA and five years later my Master’s Degree in Applied linguistics and TESOL at the University of Leicester. My teaching career began in 1995 and since then I have incessantly followed the developments of English language teaching. I have presented at TESOL Greece and IATEFL on the topic of teaching Young Learners through storytelling, which was also the focus of my dissertation. My main interest and passion is the teaching of very young learners and currently I have been focusing on educational management and teaching technologies.

I am a founding member of ELA (Educational Leadership Association), a newly formed association, which focuses on providing excellence in education and innovation in language teaching.

I am also a member of TESOL Greece and IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language.)

In my free time I like to play the piano, do yoga and go running and of course enjoy the beautiful beaches on Corfu island.
